Purpose of the role (Briefly describe the overall purpose of this position. Why does it exist and how does it contribute to the organization overall? Short summary)

 

The Purpose of this role is to have a replacement to existing position who will be a point of contact for SAP topics, will coordinate and collect business requirements, provide 2nd and 3rd level of support on change requests and issues reported and has deeper understanding of SAP specially in FI/CO module (preferred). In future, will be involved in SAP Implementation project (S/4 HANA) when it will be rolled out for India. We need to have someone who has at least 1 End to End implementation experience and has good knowledge on providing support on other functional requirements in SAP.

 

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze and define solutions within the Incident, Change-, Portfolio- and Project-Process
    • Understand the business issues and challenges.
    • Suggest areas of improvement
    • Lead projects and initiatives in the SAP and other application area
    • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to the proposed solution.
    • Develop functional specifications and system design specifications.
    • Recommend technical solutions.
    • Support business users to perform testing of new processes.
    • Document functional designs, test cases and results.
    • Provide Training to end users.
  • Involved in SAP project for OPP and OSS Balzers (India and SEA countries)
  • Cooperate with internal SAP CoE consultants to get prompt support on business requirements.
  • Managing of the external AMS partner
  • Take responsibilities in the 1st and 2nd level support.
  • Contribute to driving Oerlikon into Digitalization
  • Drive for process harmonization and build-up of a global process catalog.

  • Independently managing SAP support jointly with other team members.
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions (global and local) and external partners.
  • Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
  • Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
  • Track and provide updates on various SAP topics to local management team from time to time.

  • Will be an interface with various Global SAP teams, Local functional heads, and external support partners.

 

 

Required education, experience, knowledge (max. 7, list education, experience, knowledge, or special licenses needed to perform the job.)

 

  • Graduate in any stream, BE (degree will be preferred).
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience with SAP ECC (FI/CO Module preferred).
  • Have proven experience in the analysis, conception, and management of end-2-end processes with the SAP modules in a service or manufacturing company.
  • A high level of analytical and conceptual thinking as well as excellent communication and organizational skill.
  • ITIL and another knowledge is an advantage.
  • B1/B2 level of written and spoken English.

 

Required skills & expertise (max. 9, functional, professional expertise, technological problem-solving)

 

  • Minimum experience of 1 full end to end SAP implementation.
  • Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring FI/CO and support desk experience.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset.
  • Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with global teams.
