Courier / Facilities Assistant bei Central Jersey Medical Center

To disseminate information, distribute supplies and assist the facilities team. By delivering Supplies, packages, messages, mail, petty cash, documents, personnel, and other items to or within Central Jersey Medical Center locations or to other businesses/ organizations and assisting with rudimentary facilities assignments by performing the following duties

• Responds to tickets for organization
• Keeps log of items received, delivered, and current inventory
• Perform deliveries of such items with the organization including supplies and medical records.
• Drives deliveries of such items to other CJMC locations or to other businesses/ organizations.
• Pick up and drop off mail to the post office.
• Collect petty cash from all CJMC locations when needed
• Help with designated functions held by the organization with setup, cleanup and supplies needed.
• Take vehicle for service when requested and allow for repair when notified by the supervisor.
• Demonstrates safe and efficient operation and routine maintenance of delivery vehicles.
• Operates motor vehicles, including pickup trucks and vans to transport supplies and personnel.
• Pick up items from designated facilities for immediate, next day or future delivery.
• Cleans parking lot maintenance including sweeping, snow removal, weed removal, and power washing
• Accompany outside vendors through the facilities when needed
• Assist facilities with rudimentary assignments
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

Education

     High School Diploma

Reasoning Ability                   

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Can read, write, and speak English.
