Description
The Sous Chef is the second-in-command in the kitchen, assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing all culinary operations within a large facility. This role requires extensive experience, leadership, and culinary expertise to ensure high-quality food preparation and service. The Sous Chef supervises kitchen staff, manages daily operations, and ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a high-volume culinary environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Strong understanding of dietary needs, including allergen awareness and special diets.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
