The Technician works in the rigging department and will handle truss, hoist, rigging hardware, pipe and a variety of accessories. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receive, Check, and verify equipment during Returns Process.
- Process Equipment and follow SOP for equipment Prep and Quality Assurance
- Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items
- Verify proper operation of Hoist and Hoist Systems
- Ensure all equipment prep deadlines are met
- Organize and store all tested equipment
- using a forklift or reach truck to store equipment in department
- Internal PRG training provided for use of Forklift.
- Ensure all equipment is in top cosmetic shape
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Work well under hard deadlines; ability to plan workflow accordingly
- Solid understanding of A/V production equipment and functionality, rigging knowledge is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience working with A/V equipment, dry-hire background a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods, stand, crouch, bend in a full range of motion.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a time-sensitive production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
