What you'll do:
Working as a member of a team or as an individual, performs and has primary responsibility for various types of shipping related duties, including but not limited; coordinating the preparation and loading of trucks, associated shipping paperwork, material movements and inventory transactions and inventory cycle counts. Shipping clerk performs necessary quality checks, records information in PLEX (Enterprise Resource Planning system -ERP), and performs general utility work to meet work schedule. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
When and where:
This will be a 2nd shift / 2:30PM-11:00PM M-F position located at our plant in Richmond, KY.
What you need to have:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Intermediate level use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to type 15 words per minute
- Shipping/manufacturing experience preferred
- Must have prior forklift experience and/or be able to obtain a forklift license/permit
