- Hire, train, and manage a team of RV salespeople.
- Set sales goals and develop strategies to increase RV sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase repeat business and referrals.
- Monitor sales activities and performance, and provide coaching and training as needed to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement promotional activities and events to attract new customers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical sales practices.
- Manage inventory levels and work with the parts and service departments to ensure timely delivery of RVs to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in the RV or automotive industry, including knowledge of dealership finance and insurance (F&I) processes.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The RV General Sales Manager typically works in an office setting
- The job may require working evenings and weekends to accommodate customer needs
- The work environment can be fast-paced and stressful, requiring the ability to work well under pressure
- Travel may be required to attend industry events or meet with manufacturers
