Avaap is seeking a Principal Consultant - Snowflake Architect to join our team of Data & Analytics experts. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong project and people leadership.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Expertise in data warehouse and analytics architecture, design and implementation experience
- 3+ years of Snowflake data platform architecture, design and implementation experience
- Experience setting up and configuring new Snowflake environments
- Expert knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing, analytics and AI capabilities and best practices
- Strong data engineering experience using SQL, Python and/or other common data engineering tools/languages
- In-depth knowledge of modern data management and governance best practices
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills and experience in critical, client-facing roles
- Ability to work on multiple projects and handle competing priorities
- Flexibility to learn new skills, clients, and geographies
- Snowflake certification(s)
- Working experience with ETL/ELT and/or analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx, Data Factory, dbt, Informatica, DataStage, etc.)
- Working experience with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Cognos etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of AI solutioning and best practices
- Working experience with or exposure to any of the following enterprise systems, including Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Banner, etc
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel tools and functions
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.

- Base Salary Range is $130,000 to $165,000 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
- During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
- Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
