Award-Winning Aviation Recruitment Agency seeks Recruitment Team Leader to join Heathrow Operation.

Optime Group is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of temporary staff to major airports and logistics hubs. We’re proud to support some of the biggest names in aviation – and we’re growing fast.

We’re now looking for a Recruitment Team Leader to join our internal team based at Heathrow. This is a hands-on role where you’ll continue recruiting at the highest standard while inspiring and guiding colleagues through sharing knowledge, best practice, and support.

What’s on offer:

  • £32,000 per annum
  • Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
  • 1 weekend shift every 8 weeks (you’ll get 2 weekdays off that week)
  • 29 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carry a personal portfolio of vacancies, delivering against your own placement targets
  • Source, attract and engage candidates using a variety of recruitment channels
  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with CAA regulations, client requirements and industry standards
  • Lead by example – delivering a standout candidate journey from first contact to induction
  • Share best practice, tips and insight with colleagues to support team development
  • Support the wider team with problem solving and day-to-day challenges
  • Build strong pipelines of candidates to meet client demand across multiple sites
  • Work closely with referencing and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth recruitment process
  • Oversee onboarding processes – from assessments and e-learning to day-one check-ins
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and keep recruitment systems up to date
  • Communicate regularly with placed candidates to support engagement and retention

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in recruitment or resourcing (agency background preferred)
  • A hands-on recruiter who leads by example
  • Someone who thrives on problem solving and supports colleagues with challenges
  • A proactive and organised individual who takes ownership of results
  • Strong commercial awareness – you understand the link between recruitment and client success
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and influence peers
  • Happy working independently and using your own initiative
