This role is instrumental to managing the recording and reporting of rights information in all content owned and/or licensed by SkyShowtime. Its purpose is to ensure that SkyShowtime makes the most out of the content available to it, meets its contractual rights obligations and accurately tracks and reports usage for finance, scheduling and regulatory purposes. The role is a critical link in SkyShowtime’s content lifecycle and provides a single source of truth for rights information across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for all data entry to Rights Logic.
- Interpreting output deals, acquisition licenses and commissioning agreements.
- Interfacing with scheduling teams to collect and input usage information.
- Providing clearance advice to the business on proposed availability of content.
- Providing reports to the business as and when required.
- Assisting the Content Rights Manager to design and implement reporting.
- Carrying out testing of changes made to Rights Logic to ensure changes are fit for purpose.
- Assisting the Content Rights Manager in designing and implementing workflows between the Rights Management team and other departments across the organisation.
- Ensuring all data within Rights Logic is accurate and fully QC’d.
- Supporting on queries and highlighting any system errors quickly to ensure these are remedied at the earliest opportunity.
- Working with the Content Rights Manager identifying potential system upgrades and maintaining the core data structures withing Rights Logic to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
- Provide training to stakeholders to enable them to self-serve reports from Rights Logic where appropriate.
- Actively promote Rights Logic as the single source of truth of rights data across the business.
What you'll bring
- Experience of content rights management in a media company, ideally a major studio or within video streaming.
- Direct and in-depth experience with Rights Logic required.
- Experience in legal rights interpretation and a background in media content agreement in particular.
- Higher education qualification including IP law or legal modules would be advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for content.
- Awareness of content deal making process.
