Function:
Responsible for leading quality management across both in-house and third-party operations in Latin America, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, operational excellence, safety, and innovation. Focused on continuous improvement, development of large and diverse teams, and integration of quality processes across the value chain. When applicable, acts as the technical representative before regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, global guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Manage quality operations at both internal production centers and third-party manufacturers (3PM) in Latin America, ensuring efficiency, safety, and operational excellence.
Oversee industrial hygiene processes, ensuring strict adherence to cleaning, sanitization, and microbiological control standards in production areas.
Act as the main technical point of contact with Brazilian regulatory authorities, leading audits and ensuring legal compliance of manufacturing and import processes. Act as the technical responsible, if applicable.
Develop and monitor performance indicators related to quality, hygiene, cost, and efficiency, promoting corrective and preventive actions based on data.
Lead strategic projects related to innovation, cost reduction, and supplier development, with a focus on sustainability and continuous improvement.
Provide support for the introduction of new products and technologies, ensuring quality processes are properly prepared and documented.
Lead and develop large, diverse, cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of quality, safety, hygiene, and high performance.
Plan and execute internal and external audits, including suppliers and third parties, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Manage consumer complaints, leading investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Support the development and maintenance of quality management systems, including digital tools and IT systems.
Collaborate with functions such as manufacturing, planning, engineering, SHE, innovation, and regulatory affairs to ensure quality practices are integrated across the value chain.
Deploy and execute strategies developed and aligned with global and regional Quality teams

Knowledge, Skills and Experienc
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related fields.
Postgraduate studies or MBA is considered a plus.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Quality, Innovation, and People Management.
Special Requirements
Active CRF (Regional Pharmacy Council) or CRQ (Regional Chemistry Council) license.
