Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Air Compressor Field Mechanics for projects located in and around Sun Valley, CA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $35/hour based on experience & skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair air compressor systems at Texas A&M, College Station.
- Work directly with the maintenance team to diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Ensure air compressor equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
- Perform on-site service, repair, and maintenance of air compressors and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide timely solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Install new air compressor systems and components as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors to explain repairs and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience as an Air Compressor Technician or in Industrial Equipment Maintenance
- Strong Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Valid DL & clean driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Technical Certifications or Training in HVAC, Pneumatics, or Related Field is a Plus
