About the Department
Performs programmatic, clerical, and administrative duties for the CSU Extension Office. Provides coordination of various programs and projects; oversees volunteers, members, and program participants.
Position Duties
- Oversees the front reception area including phone calls and in-person customer service including scheduling appointments.
- Receives payments and logs them to correct accounts; generates profit and loss statements; oversees databases for program membership and payments received and produces budgetary and other reports from data.
- Researches and provides answers or referrals in response to client needs.
- Maintains extensive records, including timekeeping, statistics, and databases, and generates data reports.
- Designs layouts, proofs, and prints; mails newsletters, correspondence, and other documents.
- Oversees volunteers, members, and program participants to ensure program requirements are met.
- Creates and coordinates marketing campaigns and program materials such as flyers, brochures, handouts, rosters, nametags, certificates, and evaluations.
- Schedules and coordinates events, trainings, and workshops to include scheduling, securing locations, marketing, and notifications.
- Maintains program website design and maintenance and social media for program promotion and educational purposes.
- Carries out various duties for the Pueblo County Fair and Showcase Sale activities.
- Performs other duties as appropriate or necessary for performance of the job.
Minimum Qualifications
OPTION #1:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency required
- Minimum of five (5) years or more clerical work in a fast-paced public-facing office environment required
OPTION #2:
- Associate's Degree in the field of Business Management, Office Administration, or related field required
- Minimum of three (3) years or more clerical work in a fast-paced public-facing office environment required
