Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Client Delivery Executive to add to our team.

STS Mission: We modernize federal agencies through AI-infused, cloud-centric solutions. As we scale toward $65-75M in enterprise value by 2029, we’re building on our existing performance, brand and reputation for continued, exceptional leadership of our delivery organization.

Why This Role Matters

  • Be the Architect of STS Delivery Excellence: Codify and scale the PMO, metrics, methods—and own the project-accounting engine—that ensure every contract delivers maximum customer value, margin, and “time-to-value.”
  • Shape Federal Missions: From DHS to DOI you’ll own execution on a portfolio of IDIQs, GWAC task orders, and full & open projects—translating FAR/CMMI/FedRAMP requirements & distinctive STS capabilities into competitive moats.
  • Embed “AI-First” & Lean/Business-Agile DNA: Turn AI & digital prototypes into industrialized services and drive continuous process improvement—and seamless financial integration—across delivery teams.
  • Coach & Grow People: Build tomorrow’s delivery leaders through rigorous talent development, succession planning, and high-EQ coaching.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Delivery Trailblazer: 7+ years of federal program or project management leading distributed, high-complexity teams (≥ $5 M+ contracts).
  • PMO & Accounting System Owner: Hands-on standing up PMO processes and full ownership of our Unanet project-based accounting system—BOE development, people plans, baseline budgets, and P&L tracking.
  • Financial Owner: Track record owning P&L metrics—bookings, revenue, margin, utilization—and translating them into actionable initiatives.
  • Agile & Lean Practitioner: Agile certification (CSCM, SAFe) or PMP preferred, coupled with deep Lean delivery expertise.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Delivery: Ability to develop trusted relationships and measurable mission outcomes resulting in STS being a trusted “go-to” advisor and problem solver for our clients.
  • Superior Communicator & Executive Presence: Equally at home briefing C-suite stakeholders and coaching front-line PMs.
  • “AI-First” Mindset: Deep experience integrating AI tools into status reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • GovCon Savvy: Intimate knowledge of federal acquisition lifecycles, task-order management, and performance-based contracting.
  • Willing & Able to Get Hands-On: STS is dynamic as it expands and contracts across its life-cycle. There will be occasions when this person must push up their sleeves and “do.”

In This Role You Will
1. Build & Run Our Delivery Engine

  • Stand up a corporate-wide PMO: standardized templates, pipeline governance, KPI dashboards (time-to-value, CSAT, on-time delivery).
  • Define and enforce “Definition of Done”—audit-ready compliance with FAR, CMMI L3, FedRAMP, ISO.

2. Own Project Accounting as System Owner

  • Basis of Estimate (BOE) Development: Design and maintain BOEs that seamlessly feed from capture into delivery—aligning bid models to execution budgets.
  • People Plan & Budget Management: Ensure every project is loaded in Unanet with approved people plans, annual budgets, and cost baselines.
  • P&L Tracking & Variance Analysis: Monitor actuals vs. baseline, partner with Finance to investigate and course-correct at the task-order level.

3. Own Financial Performance

  • Drive portfolio bookings, revenue recognition, gross margin targets, and utilization goals.
  • Collaborate with Finance on indirect rates, cost-structure optimization, and forward-pricing strategies.

4. Deliver Exceptional Client Outcomes

  • Lead Program Managers and technical leads to execute consulting and implementation services.
  • Serve as executive-level sponsor on key contracts—steering war rooms for high-velocity AI lab deployments and rapid MVP roll-outs.

5. Contribute to Capabilities Development

  • Identify repeatable, "high value" services and solutions being delivered on project(s).
  • Collaborate with CGO & CTO to package and “productize” high-value services and solutions.

6. Contribute to Growth

  • Identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities within existing and adjacent contracts/customers.
  • Achieve annual organic growth revenue target, which will be a % of the corporate bookings target.
  • Own development of Management, Staffing, and QASP solutions and proposal volumes.
  • Identify key personnel for bids.
  • Participate in orals.
  • Develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) to inform green team reviews and Price to Win.

7. Scale Talent & Culture

  • Partner with People Ops to recruit, onboard, and coach a high-performing Professional Services team.
  • Establish career paths, competency frameworks, and one-on-one coaching rhythms for delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship & Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years of progressive federal Program/Project Management.
  • Hands-on experience as the de facto system owner of a project-based accounting tool (Unanet preferred).
  • Demonstrable Lean/Agile PM methodologies expertise.
  • Deep understanding of federal acquisition and performance-based contracting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience managing project-level P&L and budgets.

Preferred Credentials

  • PMI-PMP, CSCM, or SAFe certification (similar)
  • Prior GovCon PMO leadership
  • FedRAMP/CMMI/ISO environment experience.
