POSITION OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily operations to ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment and compliance with safety standards. In addition, the Supervisor manage scheduling, logistics, and employee training while monitoring performance and productivity. The role also drives reporting, safety initiatives, and continuous process improvement.

• Organize and prioritize daily work, including pallet and multi-order processing, to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders.
• Manage and adjust schedules to accommodate employee absences by filling in as needed.
• Oversee logistics planning, including preparing bills of lading, booking and scheduling trucks, and managing cancellations when necessary.
• Ensure OSHA requirements for pallet machines are met daily by coordinating and verifying compliance activities.
• Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they understand processes, safety protocols, and productivity expectations. 
• Provide input regarding employee performance to the Warehouse Manager, identifying strengths and opportunities for development.
• Collect and analyze end-of-day data to create detailed productivity reports for management.
• Develop and maintain a daily list of orders on the floor, including destinations and delivery dates.
• Actively participate in safety meetings and initiatives to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to company and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as Supervisor
• Knowledge of warehouse management procedures and continuous improvement practices
• Understanding of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and databases, preferably cloud-based ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar.
• Knowledge of implementation of cycle counting process to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Excellent communication skills and strong decision making and problem-solving skills
