Full Time, Assisted Living

$23 to $27, DOE

We are located on 60 pristine acres in Santa Barbara, CA!  We offer resort style retirement and continuity of care for seniors.

Under supervision of the Director of Wellness and Assisted Living, will assist Assisted Living, Memory Care with general administrative functions and needs. Provides Concierge support, assist residents and family members.

  • Answers all incoming calls in a professional manner using a telephone console or switchboard; locates individuals, takes messages as necessary; may receive/transmit fax messages;
  • Greets and gives directions or information to residents, personnel, visitors, guests and vendors;
  • Performs filing and general clerical duties; may type correspondence, reports and/or other assignments as directed by Director of Residential Care Services.
  • Responsible for updating and distributing daily census report for Assisted Living and Memory Care;
  • Responsible for updating all log information in the notebook at least weekly;
  • Maintains current files of emergency information on all Assisted Living and Memory Care residents;
  • Prepares and distributes reports and material required for meetings as needed;
  • Keeps Director informed of all issues and concerns of residents, families or staff;
  • Make directory and mail box signs as needed;
  • Assemble new resident charts;
  • Assist with disaster drills and update disaster kit as needed;
  • Coordinates with Life Enrichment team by helping to encourage resident participation in activities. This includes posting of activities, announcements in dining room, telephoning residents and being informed of the on-going programs.  This also includes coordination of Resident Assistants in helping to encourage and bring residents to programs both in Assisted Living and on campus;
  • Coordinates staff scheduling under the direction and supervision of the dept Director;
  • Assist with timekeeping duties as needed; 
  • Orders office supplies and other department supplies as needed;
  • Maintains system for inventory and ordering of medical supplies for Assisted Living and Wellness Clinic;
  • Seeks quality medical supplies at lowest price or best value for volume needed;
  • Keep supplies and office equipment in orderly fashion and in good working order. Stocks copier paper and other needed supplies;
  • Maintains and updates files and reference materials;
  • Notifies Security of any problems or concerns;
  • Relates messages via two way radio and pager system;
  • Performs emergency call procedures according to established policy;
