The Risk Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risks across operational, financial, strategic, and compliance domains. The Risk Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, conduct assessments, and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies and reporting processes. 

Requirements

What You Will Do:

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze risk-related data to detect trends, anomalies, and emerging threats. Support scenario planning and stress testing exercises.
  • Mitigation Support: Collaborate with departments to implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor the effectiveness of controls.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare risk dashboards, summaries, and reports for internal stakeholders. Support the Risk Manager in preparing materials for senior leadership and board presentations.
  • Policy & Procedure Support: Draft and update risk management policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Manage and track compliance with internal risk policies and external regulations. Lead and support audits and examinations by organizing documentation and coordinating responses.
  • Audit & Exam Coordination: Manage logistics and documentation for regulatory and third-party audits, including tracking remediation efforts and status updates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal teams to promote a risk-aware culture and ensure consistent risk practices across the organization.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in risk analysis, compliance, or audit
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and risk management software
  • Maintain discretion and possess the ability to maintain independent judgement 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with enterprise risk management frameworks 
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry
  • Experience supporting audits or regulatory exams
  • Knowledge of data analytics or statistical modeling

Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions. The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.
