Position Purpose
Senior Sales Account Representative responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Senior Sales Account Representatives liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Manage and develop client accounts to grow the revenue of the offices.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing assigned and growing new relationships within pertaining industries and regions
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with the technical/operations group and our customers
- Work daily with Operation Managers and technical professionals by facilitating the sales process to accomplish their goals
- Develop a Sales Pipeline in Salesforce
- Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, business development team members, and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our services
- Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
- Liaison between the customer and internal teams
Requirements
Education
College degree preferred. Major in technical, engineering, or mechanical sciences preferred.
Required Knowledge and Experience
· 5+ years of account management experience preferred
· Basic knowledge of the industry and 5+ years’ experience in the field or in a related area
· Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
· Success in developing new business opportunities
· Experienced at solution selling, preferably complex products, or services.
· Rely on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Technical:
- Has enough technical expertise to understand and explore client’s critical areas of need, their problems, their goals related to all products and services sold by PROtect.
- Can articulate PROtect’s core value propositions in each service sector, and our differentiators from all competitors.
- Has command of and can discuss PROtect’s client outcomes, which is a core part of our sales messaging.
- Sales Skills and Mindset:
- Has a high level of sales acumen and an impressive sales skillset stack.
- Has a proven record of business development and over achievement on attaining sales objectives.
- Is always hungry to learn new sales concepts and strategies and is highly coachable.
