We are seeking aspiring hospitality professionals with a passion for luxury service and a desire to grow into future Food & Beverage leaders. The Management Trainee – Food & Beverage program is designed as a professional development opportunity, offering hands-on exposure to all aspects of food and beverage operations within a world-class resort setting. Trainees will learn directly from department leaders and managers with the goal of being fully prepared to lead shifts and progress into a management role. While the program is intended to be 12 months, advancement may occur sooner for highly qualified and high-performing individuals.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Exposure: Gain hands-on experience in all areas of Food & Beverage operations, including both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) duties
Customer Service: Learn to enhance guest satisfaction by handling complaints, managing guest queries, and maintaining high service standards
Staff Management: Assist in recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating F&B staff, including preparing schedules and supporting grooming standard compliance
Inventory & Costs: Learn to monitor kitchen and bar inventory, control food and beverage costs, and manage suppliesCompliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, hygiene standards, and government health and safety regulations
Financial Management: Assist with financial aspects such as reviewing revenue statements, managing cashiers, and preparing budgets
Menu & Quality: Gain knowledge of menu development, product quality, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
Program Timeline
The program is designed as a 12-month development experience. Trainees are expected to demonstrate Hyatt’s Leadership Expectations and develop the skills necessary to transition into a management role. Progression may occur sooner for candidates who show strong leadership ability, mastery of responsibilities, and readiness to lead shifts independently.
Compensation & Benefits
The base hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour. With service charge earnings included, candidates can expect a projected hourly rate of $25–30.

Skills & Qualifications
Degree in hospitality management or related field, and/or experience in the hospitality industry (line-level or part-time positions welcomed)
Passion for luxury service, fine dining, and guest engagement
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and motivate colleagues
Adaptability to multitask and perform various duties in a dynamic environment
Problem-solving skills to address and resolve operational or guest-related challenges
Flexible and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Able to stand on feet for 8–10 hours per day
Ability to walk across the property efficiently and remain mobile throughout shifts
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Career Progression
Management trainee positions are temporary, designed to provide comprehensive training for future full-time management positions. Trainees will undergo regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions with supervisors to track progress and identify development opportunities. Strong performers may progress to leadership roles earlier than the 12-month timeline. Trainees may also be encouraged to participate in additional formal training and networking opportunities to strengthen management and F&B industry knowledge.
