We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Marketplace Lead to own our presence across Amazon, Target.com, and Walmart.com. This role will oversee both the front-end (listings, content, merchandising, customer experience) and back-end (inventory, operations, reporting) while also leading paid media campaigns within each marketplace. You’ll be responsible for maximizing visibility, efficiency, and profitability across these key growth channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day marketplace operations across Amazon, Target.com, and Walmart.com, including catalog management, inventory, pricing, and promotions.
- Own front-end execution: product listings, A+ content, imagery, SEO optimization, ratings/reviews strategy, and merchandising.
- Partner with operations function to manage back-end operations: order flow, fulfillment coordination, troubleshooting, and compliance with marketplace requirements.
- Develop and manage ad buying strategies within Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, and Target Roundel; optimize campaigns for ROAS, visibility, and new customer acquisition.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to drive discoverability and conversion.
- Regularly analyze performance metrics, create reports, and share insights with leadership to inform strategy.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and new ad opportunities to keep us competitive.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience managing marketplace accounts (Amazon required; Target.com and Walmart.com strongly preferred).
- Proven success in ad buying and campaign management across marketplace ad platforms.
- Experience leveraging tools like Helium 10 for keyword research and competitive insights.
- Experience with subscribe & save-heavy businesses on Amazon.
- Preferred experience using tools like Quartile (or similar platforms) for marketplace advertising management.
- Strong understanding of marketplace back-end systems (Seller Central, Vendor Central, or equivalents).
- Experience optimizing product content for discoverability and conversion.
- Data-driven mindset with advanced Excel/analytics skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, creative, and finance teams.
- Health & wellness or CPG experience a plus.
