Position Responsibilities

Obtaining health histories and performing physical assessments for the purpose of assessing the Patient’s health status.

Assessing Patients who have sustained work related exposures, infectious disease or injuries, or who become acutely ill while on duty.

 Treating Patients as indicated in accordance with treatment protocols, Employer’s administrative policies and procedure, Occupational Health Center’s policies and procedures and infection control policies and procedures.

Performing case management/monitoring services on all Patients who are referred to consulting physicians/agencies for treatment of work related illnesses/injuries or to determine fitness for duty evaluations.

Providing services to Employer’s drug and alcohol testing program as its Medical Review Officer 

Qualifications

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Occupation Medicine, Internal or Family Medicine
  • FL Medical License
  • Prior experience a plus
  • This is a Part Time, benefits eligible position. 5 days a week: 7am -1pm.
