POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Automatic Door Technician based in St. Louis, MO. This position is responsible for installing automatic doors and related equipment, materials, and control devices. The position may also service or perform preventative maintenance on automatic doors.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20.00/hr - $49.00/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install dormakaba doors and related equipment, materials, and control devices in commercial buildings
• Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional manner
• Serve as the lead installer in moderately complex automatic door installations
• Operate a company vehicle, and transport products and equipment in a safe and courteous manner
• Manage assigned parts and consumable stocks effectively, and maintain a neat and organized vehicle and workspace

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Valid current driver’s license
• Physical requirements, including ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead
• 1+ years’ of relevant experience

WHAT WE PREFER

• AAADM Certification
• 1+ years’ relevant experience
