Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Collaboration Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Exchange Hybrid, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Copilot, Email Archive, and other collaboration tools and services. This role will be integral in managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Design, implement, and manage Exchange Hybrid and Exchange Online environments.
- Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
- Utilize Copilot to enhance productivity and streamline workflow processes.
- Manage and maintain email archiving solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 services and collaboration tools.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate M365 services with existing infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest M365 features, updates, and best practices.
- Conduct training and provide support to end-users to maximize the utilization of M365 services.
- Perform regular system monitoring, audit and generate reports on system performance and usage.
Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Typically, requires a college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Exchange Hybrid and Exchange Online environments preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other M365 collaboration tools.
- Experience with Copilot and its integration into workflow processes.
- Strong knowledge of email archiving solutions and best practices.
- Experience with virtual machine (VM) systems management.
- Strong understanding of MS Windows Server systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for IT service management.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are highly desirable.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management of M365 services.
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements related to M365 services.
- Experience with other collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom or Webex.
- Understanding of networking concepts and their relation to M365 services.

- Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above). Exceptions:
o Member-facing and approved out-of-state roles remain remote.
o Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.

- On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.
