Maintenance Technician

Must be able to work either 1st or 3rd shift, with the ability for an on-call rotation.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience, range $25-30 hourly estimated. Salary can be negotiated.

Essential Functions

• Perform work on manufacturing systems and processes in timely, safe and efficient manner in order to attain production goals.
• Perform work on support systems and processes and conduct preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Performs work on electrical, mechanical and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Follow rules and work requirements pertaining to PPE, Lock Out-Tag Out, Hot Work Permits and Confined Space Entry
• Respond to off-shift mechanical problems or emergencies within reasonable time and provide troubleshooting and support as needed.
• Support manufacturing process improvements, provide forklift or material handling support as required.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Performs some facility repairs and maintenance
• Other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Three to Five years of previous industrial maintenance experience and strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 
• Prefer some experience welding and/or pipefitting.
• Some experience with mechanical, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems preferred.
• Must be able to repair/rebuild, maintain or service pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, etc.
• Must have basic knowledge of boiler systems, HVAC systems, chillers, and steam generation.
• Must have and be able to be contacted by telephone off hours, weekends or holidays.
• Must maintain forklift certification, and required Safety training and PPE/CGMP Equipment at all times.
• HS Diploma or GED, preferred Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or some form of training in relevant field.
