Hybrid Instructional Tutor (2025-2026) - Mt. Washington Elementary bei Bullitt County Schools

This position is for the 2025-2026 school year.

NOTICE OF POSSIBLE WAIVER: To expedite the hiring for this position, the hiring supervisor may apply for a waiver to prevent disruption of necessary instructional or support services. 

Mt. Washington Elementary is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and student-focused individual to join our school family as a Reading and Math Interventionist. The ideal candidate will work closely with our intervention team and classroom teachers to deliver effective, differentiated support for students in grades K-5.

Candidates with current teaching certification is also a plus. The position is a Classified Instructional Tutor position.

• Must have 64 college credit hours per day with 2.5 GPA. and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

This position is for 6 hours per day and 183 days per year.

(170 school days, 4 paid holidays, 7 planning days, 2 extended days)

Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.

Step 0:  $23.91

Step 10:   $26.18

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE:  It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year long contract and divided by the number of reamining paychecks.  This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule.  4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
