Job Description
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Daily process monitoring and hands-on troubleshooting
- Reviewing key performance indicators associated with the assigned area to provide technical guidance on operating and maintenance practices to support productivity, efficiency, and quality
- Implementing projects to improve the competitiveness of the operation while establishing and managing project milestones and resource requirements
- Utilizing data to assist with business planning and forecasting
- Driving culture change to instill focus on fact-based management practices via the use of Lean Six Sigma and other problem-solving methodologies
- Candidate must demonstrate:
- Ability to work closely with support groups in a team setting
- Excellent computer, communication, and writing skills as well as an interest in hands-on assignments in a manufacturing environment
- Capability to analyze and interpret large sets of process data, leverage an understanding of processes and unit operations to test, sample, and evaluate potential areas of opportunity and communicate proposed improvement ideas and findings to the organization
- Safety as a core value in all aspects of work
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical & Chemical) preferred
- Experience with tooling and robotics would be a plus
- At least one-year related experience
- Experience working with wage employees is desirable
- Mechanical experience dealing with threading and industrial machinery preferred
