The State and Local Tax (SALT) Department of Anders is seeking an Intern who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This internship will start in January and run throughout the spring academic semester. This role is in-person in our office in St. Louis, MO.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare sales/use tax returns
- Analyze data, perform tax research, and assist in tax planning
- Collaborate on multi-state tax projects, like refund reviews, tax compliance, nexus reviews, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, and assessment appeals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accounting curriculum at the junior level or higher (Graduating May 2027 or earlier)
- Plan to pursue CPA
- Minimum 25+ hour work week required
