We are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to facilitate a trauma group class for 10-12 participants enrolled in our medical weight loss program. Recognizing the strong link between trauma and obesity, this group will provide a supportive space for participants to process their experiences, fostering healing and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead bi-monthly group sessions (1 hour each) focused on discussing and processing trauma.
- Develop ongoing educational materials tailored to the group's needs.
- Create a safe and open environment for participants to share and connect.

Education:
- Have a master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and five years of full-time social work experience that shall include:
- Be licensed as a clinical social worker by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
