Hybrid Motor Vehicle Mechanic bei D2 Government Solutions

D2 Government Solutions is looking for a dedicated Motor Vehicle Mechanic (General Purpose). As a GP Mechanic, you’ll perform scheduled PM&I and unscheduled repairs on light/medium/heavy wheeled vehicles, documenting all work to Air Force standards and keeping the fleet safe, serviceable, and mission‑ready.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair engines, drivetrains, brakes, steering, electrical, HVAC
• Conduct PM&I and special inspections; road test and verify repairs
• Use tech data (ETIMS/TOs) and record work in DPAS and required forms
• Maintain shop housekeeping/safety and tool control

Requirements:

• 3+ years automotive/heavy‑truck maintenance experience
• Ability to read/interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and TOs
• Valid driver’s license; U.S. work authorization; CAC eligibility

Nice to have (preferred)

• ASE certifications (A‑series), CDL (B/A), or OEM training

Physical/Work conditions:

• Bend, crouch, kneel; lift up to 75 lbs; exposure to shop/flightline conditions with PPE
