Hybrid Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Tire Technician bei D2 Government Solutions

D2 Government Solutions is looking for a dedicated Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Tire Technician. This hybrid role combines general vehicle maintenance with responsibility for the tire shop. You’ll perform tire inspections/repairs/replacements per Air Force technical guidance and support GP maintenance tasks as workload dictates.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tire inspection, repair (plug/patch), mount/balance, and replacement for light/heavy fleet
• Follow tire control procedures (traceability, torque, inflation, scrap handling)
• Support GP diagnostics/repairs and PM&I; document all work in DPAS and forms
• Assist operators with tire issues not covered by operator care; maintain tire inventories/consumables

Requirements:

• 2+ years tire service experience (auto + medium/heavy) and general mechanical aptitude
• Safe operation of changers, balancers, lifts, torque tools; attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license; U.S. work authorization; CAC eligibility

Nice to have (preferred)

• ASE A4 (Steering/Suspension) or T8 (PMI), CDL (B/A)

Physical/Work conditions

• Frequent lifting up to 75 lbs.; repetitive movements; shop/yard exposure with PPE
