We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill the role of Team Lead in the finish department. This full-time, NIGHT position is based in Mifflintown, PA, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork.
The primary responsibilities of the Team Lead position is to assist the department supervisor in the efficient flow, tracking, quality, paperwork and all related processes and timely delivery of product.
- Support the CARE values of the organization
- Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.
- Oversee the Wood Door, Wood Drawer Box, and Wood Frame processes to make sure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures.
- Lead the designated team in their daily work and based off of supervisor guidance
- Have skill and ability to work the line in any area needed based on production needs
- Have the ability to set up and operate any machine in the outlined processes
- Assist in training and development of team members
- General product knowledge for all parts build in the outlines process
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- At least two years of related experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Working Relationship
Communication is required across all levels of the organization- executive team, other functional leaders, subordinates and production floor workers. The team lead works under the immediate supervision of the Department Supervisor.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift/move in excess of 50 lbs. at a time
- Stand, walk, stoop, and perform motions for an extended period
PPE
Safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes at all times while on the production floor.
Safety
This position expects to adhere to all safety rules to include the use of all require protective personal equipment (PPE). Specifically, eye and hearing protection must be worn at all times while in the production floor.
