Job Title: Community Assistant
Reports To: Assistant Director of Operations
Location: The Triangle Towers at Case Western Reserve University
Compensation: $10.70 per hour
FLSA Status: Student Non-Exempt

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, is a group of student housing professionals focused exclusively on the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and/or highly affiliated with a university.
Summary:
The Community Assistant is responsible for assisting operations with serving on-call and completing various administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve on a weekly on-call rotation for apartment lock outs Monday-Friday after the management office closes (after 5pm) and on the weekends.
- The Community Assistant could be offered hours to work in the management office. (These are optional hours as available). Office duties include:
- Conduct resident tours & move-ins
- Processing work orders
- Processing rent payments
- Document filing
- Distributing guest parking passes
- Auditing and assisting residents with package locker system
- Additional duties as needed
Qualifications:

- High school diploma.
- Current student at Case Western Reserve University
- Have a functioning cell phone (note: we do not give your number out to residents-we have an answering service that issues calls).
- Be within a 20-minute response radius to respond to lock out calls.
- Maintain full-time enrollment and “good standing” with Case Western Reserve University.
- Demonstrate proficiency in verbal communication.
- Possess strong customer service skills.
- Must have troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Compensation
$40.00 per week and paid per lockout after the first 4 incidents. This position is not a work study position. This position is not eligible for benefits.
