Job Summary:

The Enterprise Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the bank’s enterprise-level vendor and application portfolio while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. This role focuses on delivering high-impact, scalable banking applications and services that enhance operational efficiency, support business growth, and enhance customer experiences at an enterprise-wide level. The role will focus on managing and strengthening relationships with enterprise-wide third-party vendors and service providers to ensure that the bank’s needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Defines, develops, and communicates the vision and strategy for the bank’s suite of enterprise-wide applications, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and long-term growth plans
  • Ensures that enterprise applications are scalable and adaptable across multiple departments or business lines within the bank
  • Manages a portfolio of banking applications that serve across the organization, ensuring each enterprise product aligns with strategic business goals and delivers value to the organization
  • Acts as the central point of contact for enterprise application support and training
  • Evaluates and manages the product roadmap for enterprise applications; prioritizing features, enhancements, and initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and available resources
  • Tracks system performance metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure that enterprise applications comply with all applicable internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Provides strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis and feedback from internal teams
  • Presents application strategies, status reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Monitors and assesses vendor performance to ensure services are delivered according to agreed-upon standard and timelines
  • Assists with vendor contract negotiations to ensure terms are aligned with the bank’s goals
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for enterprise-wide vendors and applications for any escalation needs and addresses any discrepancies or issues in vendor performance with corrective actions
  • Coordinates with risk management and legal teams to conduct thorough due diligence on new and existing vendors
  • Facilitates the onboarding of new vendors, ensuring proper documentation, and alignment with the bank’s operational needs
  • Provides regular updates and reports to senior management on vendor performance, issues, and improvements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of back room Operations/IT experience and outsourcing experience
  • Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to work with all levels in an organization
  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate for the business
  • Problem solving skills as it relates to contract-driven relationships and an understanding of business basics as it relates to vendors
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage contract documents and performance reports

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
