We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer specializing in Industrial Controls and Automation projects.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.

- Design and implement control systems that may include PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related automation technologies.

-Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure requirements are met.

-Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. 

-Ensure that engineering solutions meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

-Identify issues and implement effective solutions to maintain project progress and integrity.

-Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including design specifications and reports.

- Work closely with departments to ensure engineering efforts support overall business objectives.

-Drive technological advancements and stay up to date with industry trends to keep the company competitive.

Education and Experience

-A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is a plus

-7+ years in industrial controls, automation, or related engineering field

-Proficiency with PLC programming 

-Strong knowledge of control panel design, instrumentation, and electrical systems

-Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software

-Experience managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and commissioning

-Experience with Schneider, Allen Bradley, WAGO, and/or Beckhoff PLCs is a plus

-Experience with Schneider, Allen-Bradley, and/or Maple Systems HMIs is a plus 

-Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, and UL 508A

-Experience in industries such as manufacturing, utilities, or process automation
