Hybrid Customer Service Attendant - Patient Experience bei Arnot Health

Arnot Health is seeking a friendly and reliable Customer Service Attendant to join our team. In this highly visible role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors entering the hospital. You will provide a welcoming presence, ensure a safe and accessible entrance, and assist guests with directions, inquiries, and transport needs.

Schedule: Evening shifts with the majority of hours between 4:30PM - 8:30PM

Status: Part-Time, ~20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors upon arrival and departure

• Escort or transport guests to hospital destinations; provide wheelchair and package assistance as needed

• Support patients entering or exiting vehicles while ensuring safe handling techniques

• Maintain a professional, neat, and approachable appearance while representing Arnot Health

• Monitor and maintain the appearance and accessibility of the hospital entrance and driveway

• Safely operate the Courtesy Cart and assist with parking vehicles when necessary

• Coordinate with Security, Environmental Services, or Facilities for additional support when required

• Uphold confidentiality, infection control guidelines, and organizational policies at all times

• Demonstrate compassionate, attentive, and service-oriented interactions with all customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• At least six months of customer service experience preferred

• Must have a valid and clean New York or Pennsylvania driver’s license

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Professional, courteous, and safety-focused demeanor
