The Youth Attendant at New Albany Country Club will be responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for children at the club's facilities. This part-time position is perfect for enthusiastic, energetic individuals who enjoy working with children. The Youth Attendant will ensure the well-being of the children and provide engaging activities for them while their parents are using the country club's facilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
This hourly, part-time position will pay $15 per hour.
Shifts available are 2 pm - close and weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check-in children at the designated youth activities area.
- Engage with children, introducing them to various activities and games.
- Supervise children and ensure their safety while at the club.
- Responsible for working scheduled events, including birthday parties, summer camp, and other youth events.
- Provide snacks and refreshments to children and ensure proper clean up afterward.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's experience and any important information.
- Maintain proper inventory and cleanliness of the youth activities area.
- Enforce country club rules and policies in a friendly and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and/or in childcare is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Must possess First Aid and CPR certification or be willing to obtain them within the first month of employment.
- Must pass a background check.
