Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Assistant Manager of eCommerce Fulfillment to support daily operations in our fast-paced fulfillment center. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in logistics, enjoys problem-solving with technology, and can lead a team to deliver accurate and timely order fulfillment.
As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Fulfillment Manager to oversee inventory management, order processing, and shipping operations while leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily eCommerce fulfillment operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Lead, train, and support fulfillment team members to meet performance and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate with the receiving team to reconcile discrepancies.
- Utilize fulfillment software, ERP systems, and reporting tools to track productivity and improve workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
- Collaborate with customer service and other departments to resolve fulfillment-related issues.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Step in to manage operations in the absence of the Fulfillment Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in fulfillment/ERP systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and warehouse technology (RF scanners, shipping software, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Shopify, ShipStation, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of process optimization and data analysis.
- Comfort with introducing new tools and training staff on technology.
