Summary
Under general supervision, the Baseball Instructor / Personal Trainer role performs a variety of tasks to support the growing needs and demands of the Health Performance Institute. Provides baseball lesson and instruction training to Health Performance
Institute clients ranging from youth, adolescents, adults, athletes, teams, and elite professionals. Helps oversee and organize baseball camps/clinics, and general development of baseball program offerings. Additionally helps perform personal training sessions for individuals and groups of varying ages. Baseball Coach Responsibilities
- Conducting baseball lessons to clients; Pitching experience a bonus
- Conducting sports specific strength and conditioning sessions to athletes.
- Conducting athlete assessments and performance evaluations
- Maintaining athlete’s performance records
- Building client relationships to increase retention rate.
- Actively promoting camps, clinics, and programs to increase enrollment.
- Ensuring that participants train and perform to a high standard of health and safety at all times.
Baseball Coach Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in either of the following fields: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Pre-Physical Therapy Studies, Education, Athletic Training, and/or Biology (required)
- CPR/AED certification (required within 90 days upon hire)
- Previous experience in personal training/sports performance (preferred)
- Previous experience in baseball coaching/private instruction (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Willingness to work with all ages including sports performance and personal training.
- Ability to adapt to the needs and interests of the group or individual participant
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, run, jump, use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel, arms to reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, or lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, speak, and hear
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
