Bring home the bacon with The World's Best Ham™
Think you could make a career out of ham? Our founder, Harry Hoenselaar, did. In fact, he made a whole company out of it -- a company that now stretches from coast to coast. Today, The Honey Baked Ham Company is a multi-million dollar company that includes our stores, a business-to-business channel, and a booming ecommerce line of business. We're growing, and are looking for smart business minds to ensure our continued success.
As a Fast Track GM at our company owned location, you'll train for approximately 6 to 9 months with an experienced HoneyBaked General Manager and then take over your own store (and become bonus eligible!) During training, you'll learn how to lead store operations and be responsible for achieving overall performance goals including sales, customer service, product quality, and staff development.
Our Ideal Candidate:
What Makes US Different?
We're a 65+ year old brand with uncompromised quality...but we're #notstuffy. We believe in balance. We're closed on Sundays, and other than four or five weeks a year, managers typically work about 50 hours per week. Our managers have full accountability of their store operations.
Our Values -- yeah, every company says that. We really mean it.
Our store leaders must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The role does require bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting and lifting products and supplies - some of which can weigh up to 65 lbs. - and working with a hot torch.
We're proud of our company and to be an equal opportunity employer. Applicants for employment are considered without regard to race, sex, color, citizenship, national origin, religion, age, marital status, disability, military/uniformed service, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or any other protected class under applicable federal, state or local law.
