TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) Grades 6-8 Literacy and Writing Coach for the 2025-26 school year PCN - # 250020 DEFINITION: Under the direction of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, the Literacy and Writing Coach (TOSA) conducts on-going training with model lessons, coaching, and follow-up support using an identified model of instruction. Develops lessons and works with teacher cadres to provide a system of collaboration and instructional support. Works with teachers to analyze student learning outcomes and develop next steps for instruction. Assists teachers in engaging all students in learning and in checking for student mastery. Provides training institutes during non-teaching times such as summer, spring break, winter break, after school hours, and during the school day on identified strategies, skills, and instructional models
