**Position Summary:**
As an IT Intern, you'll support the IT staff by performing special projects and general administrative tasks. You'll gain exposure to various aspects of IT operations and have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to user helpdesk requests, track progress, and ensure resolution.
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of our network infrastructure.
- Update computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Administer communication systems, including email, telephone, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with vendors to secure site and workstation equipment.
- Assist the Network Administrator and Sr. VP of IT with special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree (B.A/B.S) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong math skills, including the ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning skills to understand and execute detailed instructions.
- Beginner to intermediate experience with Exchange Server, routers and switches, Windows Server, Windows Clients, Citrix, MS Office, Symantec, and backup execution.
- 0-10% travel may be required.

Responsible and accountable for the support of the IT staff by performing special projects and other general administrative functions/tasks.
• Answer user helpdesk requests, track queue progress and follow to resolution.
• Maintain integrity, reliability, and dependability of network infrastructure.
• Maintain updates on computers, software and peripheral equipment.
• Administer communication systems (e-mail, telephone, and mobile devices).
• Work with vendors to secure site and workstation equipment.
• Assist Network Administrator and Sr. VP of IT with special projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compare rate, ratio and percentages and interpret basic graphs.
• Reasoning Skills - Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions with common sense understanding. Ability to deal with problems that involve few variables in standardized situations.
• Computer Skills – Beginner to Intermediate experience with Exchange Server, routers and switches, Windows Server, Windows Clients, Citrix, MS Office, Symantec, Internet Explorer (or similar) and backup execution.
• 0-10% Travel
