Hybrid Pump Mechanic (2nd Shift) - 23545 bei The Bergaila Companies

We are seeking a Pump Mechanic for assignment in Liberal, Kansas. The selected candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water/wastewater treat­ment plants and related facilities equipment on an assigned shift.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

** This is a 2nd Shift position **

** This position has a pay rate of $24/hr **

** Experience in the maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, electrical and mechanical equipment is required **

- Perform scheduled maintenance on wastewater and water plant equipment, piping, electrical components and structures

- Assist in repair and/or replacement of water and wastewater plant motors, pumps and associated equipment

- Assist electrician in repair and/or replacement of electrical motors, panels and components

- Correctly diagnose equipment failure problems and be able to instigate proper repair procedures

- Work within confined spaces such as sewage/water equipment tanks

- Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Driver’s License

- Experience in the maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, electrical and mechanical equipment
