TITLE: Laundry Attendant I Weekends Part time
DEPARTMENT: Rooms Laundry
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping & Laundry Manager
PAY: Non-exempt hourly; starting at $13/hr
A Laundry Attendant’s responsibilities include cleaning, pressing, loading, unloading and folding laundry as needed. They may also be responsible for other duties around the Laundry facility.
Ultimately, Laundry Attendants play a crucial role in the presentation of the establishment by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, and folding laundry
- Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits
- Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment
- Ensure that the facility remains clean at all times
Requirements and skills
- Work experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment is preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Availability on the weekends is preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds preferred
