Job description
Overview:
The ideal candidate will either have direct experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or possess strong functional expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting using financial planning tools or ERP systems in the finance domain.
This role requires a consultant who can work closely with our FP&A teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Adaptive Planning configurations and workflows. The consultant should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to contribute to both support and enhancement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with finance stakeholders to gather and analyze planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs.
- Configure and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning to support business processes.
- Translate financial requirements into system design, configuration, and reporting solutions.
- Support implementation, testing, and rollout of Adaptive Planning features and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models within Adaptive Planning.
- Provide functional support, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and seamless integration with other systems.
- Strong understanding of financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is highly preferred.
- Alternatively, experience with other financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC) or solid ERP finance knowledge is acceptable. Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience in these areas.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
