Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for an Sales Assistant who's as passionate about great service as we are.

This is a busy and varied role working with a great team. You'll cover trade counter sales duties, processing orders and arranging deliveries. You'll interact with customers and suppliers on a daily basis and ensure that the best service is always demonstrated to them.
Working Hours: 730am–5pm Monday to Friday and every second Saturday 8am to 12noon
Location: Jewson, Faraday Street, Dryburgh Ind. Estate, City of Dundee, DD2 3QQ
Key Responsibilities:
Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions
Process customer orders at the trade counter and sales office, arrange deliveries and update customers on their orders
Help to prepare customer orders in our warehouse in a timely manner
Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products and carry out regular stock counts
Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and your team safe at work
Required Skills and Experience
Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
Experience in a customer facing environment
Passion for working with people
A positive can-do attitude
