Description
The IT Application Adoption Specialist will provide both training and support the company’s technology adoption initiatives to ensure that our organization is getting the most out of our technology. The role will be responsible for helping the business by driving adoption and use of our enterprise software/applications. The role will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to develop and execute a holistic strategy, based on value and impact with a strong focus on learner experience. This position will be onsite at assigned clinics as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assesses, plans, develops, and implements educational programs for staff based on needs assessments, new computer applications, system updates, and other organizational goals and changes.
- Proactively meets with key stakeholders across the organization and hold regular meetings to understand their technology usage and adoption.
- Coordinates and implements instructional material in an orderly and professional manner that is easily accessible by staff.
- Produces metrics to gauge technology adoption tracking improvements and addressing proficiency gaps.
- Actively communicates adoption concerns and feedback from the business to IT leadership.
- Develops training program to foster a learning environment across the organization.
- Works alongside pilot groups & testers of new technology to define adoption strategies and training content.
- Supports IT projects in developing, organizing, implementing, and presenting training documentation and materials to staff members.
- Conducts regular live, recorded, and online end-user training sessions.
- Delivers and gathers training evaluation surveys for new hire training sessions to improve future trainings.
- Assures that training documentation reflects the current practice is updated as needed when enhancements/upgrades take place, and the appropriate people have access to documents

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree in the field of computer science or related field (not required but highly preferred)
Experience
- At least 1-4 years of technical training experience, development of training schedules including record keeping of all training completed
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment (not required but highly preferred)
Skills/Job Requirements
- Ability to learn technologies and explain technical issues to a variety of audiences
- Ability to keep up to date with application changes and updates
- Experience with delivering training content using online tools
- Experience presenting to large groups in a remote environment
- Experience producing and delivering technical training content
- Experience proactively looking for weak areas of adoption and driving solutions
- Creation of metrics and using those to drive change
- Experience with providing directions when identifying areas without clear documentation or end-user understanding of technology
- Experience working with a project team and aligning resources to strategically address IT improvements
- Ability to deliver training and adoption initiatives on an enterprise scale
Technology Skills
- Knowledge of a variety of computer hardware and software such as Windows, ConnectWise help desk ticketing software, Office 365 (Web and Application), Ring Central, Adobe Suite and Poly.
- SharePoint (not required but highly preferred)
