Director of Business Development - Fertilizer & Agronomic Innovation

Philadelphia, PA [USA]

As a Director of Business Development, you will be the driving force behind our business expansion! You will lead on the basis of clear objectives:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies,
  • Build high-performance teams,
  • Forge powerful partnerships that accelerate our mission: to empower Farmers through sustainable and profitable innovation!

Your duties:

  • Create and lead a dynamic business development strategy.
  • Inspire and coordinate a team of Business Developers and Agronomic Technical Consultants in several regions.
  • Identify, initiate and develop new market opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with Agricultural Retailers, Co-Operatives and key industry players.
  • Collaborate with global Product and Marketing teams to drive innovation.
  • Manage regional and national P&L responsibilities while ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Represent the company at high-level industry events, conferences, and strategy meetings.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned, as needed.

 

Work environment

  • Reports to the CEO.
  • Frequent travel (up to 70%), including domestic and international travel.

 

 

 

Profil attendu :

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is preferred).
  • 7+ years of professional experience working in Business Development, preferably with proven track record of establishing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong background in agriculture, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today's farmers.
  • Visionary and entrepreneurial mindset with the proven ability to turn ideas into actions & strategy into results.
  • Proven ability to lead and unite teams & stakeholders around ambitious complex projects. 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); strong proficiency in English is required.
