Job Description
To evaluate transfercredits and/or academic and vocational graduation requirements; providetechnical assistance to faculty, staff, and students; perform related work.
The successful candidate will provide support to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, with primary responsibilities including processing 50% of undergraduate domestic applications and working with designated special applicant populations, such as Athletics and Pharmacy. This role carries no management responsibilities and reports directly to the Assistant Director of Admissions, Operations, and Systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluator for 50% of Undergraduate Applications (NU,TU,FM,PB)
- Manages NU,TU,FM,PB applications in Recruit
- This includes but is not limited to: the initial review and clean-up of application, verifying citizenship (if required), reviewing documents and correcting issues within Banner and Recruit, and processing admission decisions.
• Athletics
- Assists in athlete tracking including defining Athletes in Recruit as needed.
- Attends athletic compliance meetings
• Doctor of Pharmacy Application Processing
- Works with Pharm D Spreadsheet
- Processes applications through Banner from Web App to Admit.
- Run communications to incoming pharmacy students including: submission, incomplete, and admit emails and or letters. Generates additional communications as needed.
• Oversees email communications through the office email ([email protected]).
• Manages SAT and ACT imports/tape loads.
• Serves as coordinator for the Admissions Petition Committee. Organizes and arranges regular meetings and prepares documents for reviewing students who must go through the Admission by Petition process.
• Check Banner merges for missing curricula and run the curricula push to populate.
• Fix missing account claim emails in Banner as necessary for successful BengalWeb account claim.
• Other Duties as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
-Researching, interpreting and applying university policies andprocedures relating to transfer credits or graduation requirements.
-Interpreting, applying and explaining university academic andvocational program requirements.
-Computing grade point averages.
-Compiling data and preparing reports.
