P.A.C.E. offers a wide variety of services to fulfill this mission such as medical services to medications, from nutritious meals to transportation – all personalized to meet the participant’s specific needs!
This is a PART TIME position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Must be able to meet Carolina SeniorCare's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage. 2. Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
3. Education: High school diploma required. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification required, or ability to obtain.
4. Experience: Minimum of one year experience working with a frail or elderly population required. One year experience as a maintenance technician. Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing work strongly preferred. Ability to use hand tools, small power tools, painting, and other equipment with reasonable and acceptable skills. Has working knowledge of pest control requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in operable conditions.
2. Performs maintenance tasks in accordance with procedures and preventative maintenance schedule.
3. Responds to maintenance requests by participants and staff. Maintains storage and mechanical areas in clean, orderly manner. Maintains interior and exterior of all buildings.
4. Performs periodic inspections of property, plant, and equipment.
5. Performs landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, hedging, weeding, spreading fertilizer, mulch, sowing grass, setting out plants, watering, trimming of trees and shrubs.
6. Participates in safety, fire control, security, and other matters related to Life Safety Codes.
7. Assists in maintaining, cleaning, and inspecting Carolina SeniorCare motor vehicles.
8. Performs related duties as required.
