Jim Hudson Audi is hiring a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Counterperson and Delivery Driver to deliver, pickup and sell parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop or on the phone. We value our employees and invest in their success.

Responsibilities – Parts Counterperson and Delivery Driver:

• Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed.
• Assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars.
• Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts. Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.

Requirements

Requirements – Parts Counterperson and Delivery Driver:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Parts retail sales is a plus.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Resume must be uploaded for immediate consideration.

• Must pass background test and drug screening prior to employment!
