Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed and board-certified (or board-eligible) psychiatrist to join our growing clinical team as an independent contractor. This role is in-person at our new residential treatment facilities in Minnesota and is ideal for a psychiatrist who values collaboration, clinical excellence, and a meaningful opportunity to support individuals with primary mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and assessments for incoming clients
Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-up
Collaborate closely with therapists, case managers, nurses, and other clinical staff
Participate in treatment planning and team meetings as needed
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and ethical standards
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Minnesota
DEA license in good standing
Experience working in residential or acute mental health treatment settings preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Contract Details:
Independent contractor (1099 status)
6 - 16 hours per week, with extra availability preferred
In person services at our adult residential facilities preferred
$200 - $250/hour
